Our Fall Matinee Show is...
Big Bad
The most notorious criminal in the fairy-tale world, Big Bad Wolf, is being slapped with a class-action lawsuit by the countless quirky characters he has wronged. Now, the two greatest legal minds in the Enchanted Forest — the Evil Stepmother and the Fairy Godmother — will clash in a trial that will be remembered forever after.
As part of our Matinee program, this show presented two times. Once for the general public, and once for school children. If you're class is interested in attending one of our matinee shows for schools, please contact Mr. Cerullo.

Our North Carolina Theatre Conference One Act Play Festival Entry is...
Kidney Island
Do human beings have souls? Levi, a worker in a factory called the Genome, is sure they don't. But one late night, Levi meets a mysterious spirit and begins to doubt everything he's been taught about himself and the world. With the help of a girl on roller skates and the Boss's daughter, Levi tries to rebel against the system he lives under and find the truth about the past.
As our entry into the NCTC One Act Play Festival, this show will be presented once to the public and again at competition.

Our Fall MainStage Play is...
The Play That Goes Wrong
From Mischief, Broadway masters of comedy, comes this smash-hit farce. Welcome to opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award-winning comedy – now adapted specially for high school performers – is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!

Our Spring Matinee Show is...
The Ugly Duckling
When Siggy, the Ugly Duckling, doesn’t fit in with the other ducks, the Barnyard Brigade steps in to teach him how to get along in the real world. With their help, Siggy takes on a variety of farm animal roles as he tries to find his place in the world. A fun and fresh retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story.

Our Spring MainStage Musical is...
Big Fish
Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton with a screenplay by John August, BIG FISH is a fantastical, heartwarming musical that follows the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories captivate everyone around him—especially his loving wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to become a father himself, is determined to uncover the truth behind his father’s epic tales. As Will embarks on a journey to understand the man behind the myth, BIG FISH explores the power of storytelling, family bonds, and the search for identity.

Our Final Set of Shows is..
The WFHS One Act Play Festival
This annual two night event features works written and directed by students in our Advanced Theatre class. These original stories feature the hard work and talent of new and upcoming performers, writers and directors. Different shows are presented each night of the festival, so please join us for both evenings.
